Hinglish has no spellcheck, and it shows
Nobody agrees on how to spell Hinglish, which means every caption is a series of small decisions that either sound like you or sound like a forward. Six that come up constantly:
tera / teri / tere. Tera is masculine singular, teri is feminine singular, and tere is the form that goes before a postposition. So: tere bina, tere saath, tere liye, tere paas. Tera bina is wrong and it is everywhere. This one matters more than the other five combined.
bina / bin. Bina is the ordinary word. Bin is its compressed, film-lyric cousin — bin tere is a register, not a shortcut. Use bina unless you are deliberately reaching for that older, songlike sound, and then commit to it for the whole line.
nahi / nhi. Nahi in a caption; nhi in a chat. Same for kyun over kyu and hai na over hna. Contractions read as speed, which is right in a message and wrong under a photo you took twenty minutes to pick. A caption is written. A chat is typed.
hoon / hu. Hoon looks like the sound. Hu looks like a typo. Same family: main over mai, kuch over kch, mere over mre.
z or j. Zindagi, zyada, zaroori — the z spellings are the standard ones now and the j spellings read as a regional transcription you probably did not intend. Pick z and stay consistent inside one caption.
Stretched vowels. Yaaar, sachhiii, bassss. One stretched word in a caption is a voice. Three is a performance. If you would not say it out loud that way, do not spell it that way.
The lines below all follow these rules, so you can copy them and only edit for meaning. And a length note: Instagram allows 2,200 characters but only shows about 125 before the "more" link — every caption here lands inside that.

What a caption cannot do
A caption is a public sentence, and public sentences are read by everyone and aimed at nobody. That works beautifully for a place, a milestone, a night out.
It does not work when the whole reason you are posting is one person. Then the caption becomes a hint you hope they read correctly, in a feed where they may not even reach the post. The honest version of that impulse is to send them something with their name on it instead of hoping they decode a line meant for four hundred people.

Make it yours: one true word
Every line above is deliberately general, which means every line is one word from being yours.
Before: Roz wali jagah, naya mood. After: Roz wali Cubbon Park bench, naya mood.
The rule: swap the generic noun for the real one. Not chai but the tapri outside your office. Not sheher but Nashik. Not do ghante but Pune se Lonavala. One swap per caption — two and it turns into a diary entry.
And keep the spelling consistent while you do it. If you wrote tere bina at the start, do not write tera saath at the end. That inconsistency is what makes a caption look assembled rather than written.
