It is meant to be read slowly, unpacked, and returned to.
The problem is that it is a bad thing to send at 10 p.m. to someone who does not know you like them. A Jaun Elia couplet dropped into a WhatsApp chat does one of two things: it gets read as a forward, or it gets read as far more intense than you intended, because the register is doing something your relationship has not earned yet.
So this page does the other job. Every line below is original, short enough for a message, plain enough to be believed, and written so that the person receiving it understands exactly what you mean on the first read. That is a lower ambition than poetry and a much more useful one at 10 p.m.

Romanized deliberately. When a line isn't the whole thing

Make it yours: the one edit
Every line here leans on a single abstract word — shaam, khamoshi, jumla, naam. Swap that one word for something specific and the line becomes unforwardable.
