Let's Go On a Trip

a road-map trip invite — scratch a ticket to reveal where you're going, drive a bunny-in-a-carrot-car along the dotted route stop by stop through the itinerary, toss things into a suitcase, then say yes and tear the boarding-pass stub.

About this template

Lovely's Let's Go On a Trip template is an invitation drawn on a folded paper map. It opens with a ticket from 'the group chat' to 'you + me' with the destination hidden under silver foil — they rub it with a finger to scratch off GOA (or wherever you're going) and the dates, and confetti pops when it's revealed.

Next is the route. A bunny in a carrot car drives along a dotted road on a hand-drawn map, and every tap of 'start driving' moves it to the next pin, where a luggage tag shows that stop's plan — 'leave at 6. (we'll leave at 9.)', 'beach. sunset. no phones.', 'drive home the long way'. Then they tap items like 'that one hoodie' and 'a charger. please.' into a suitcase until the lid shuts, and get the final question: so… you in? Saying 'nah' only makes the yes button bigger. Saying yes drops a boarding pass with their name, and pulling the stub tears it off with a CONFIRMED stamp.

The destination, dates, every itinerary stop, packing item and photo are editable, with steppers for the number of stops (3–6) and things to pack (3–6). It costs ₹49 one-time, takes about five minutes, and the link or QR code opens on any phone with no account.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to make a trip invite on Lovely?

About five minutes. Type in the destination and dates, rewrite each itinerary stop, edit the packing list and publish. You get a link and a QR code instantly.

Do my friends need an account to open the invite?

No. The link opens in any phone browser straight from WhatsApp or Instagram — no app, no signup.

What can I edit in the trip invite template?

The destination, dates, passengers, every itinerary stop, every packing item, the boarding-pass details, their name and the photos. Steppers set how many stops the car drives through (3 to 6) and how many things go in the suitcase (3 to 6).

How does the scratch-to-reveal work?

The destination sits under a silver foil layer. They rub it with a finger (or mouse) and once about half is scratched away, the foil fades and the destination and dates are revealed with confetti.

What happens if they say no?

The 'nah' button shows a sad face and a 'wrong answer' line, and the yes button grows each time — after a few tries 'nah' disappears. Yes drops their boarding pass, and they pull the stub to tear it and confirm.
