Thank You, Maa

a kitchen made for maa — hold to build pressure till the cooker whistles three times, lift a steel dabba tier by tier, watch the maa-o-meter catch every excuse as a LIE, then rub the steam off a plate to reveal her photo and "thank you, maa".

About this template

Lovely's Thank You, Maa template is set in her kitchen. It opens on a steel pressure cooker under the words 'maa, we need to talk.' She holds a button to turn up the gas — the cooker shakes, steam puffs out, and after three whistles the lid pops off: dal is done, now listen. Next comes her steel tiffin. Each tier she lifts off reveals a bowl of dal, rajma, palak or kheer with one line on it, like 'you knew i was lying before i did.'

Then the funny part: the maa-o-meter, a lie detector with 100% accuracy since the day you were born. Each excuse you used on her — 'i've eaten, maa', '5 minutes, almost home' — gets said out loud, the needle slams to LIE, a red stamp lands, and the truth appears underneath. The finale is a steel plate fogged with steam. She rubs it clear with her finger to find her photo, hearts float up, and the page says 'thank you, maa — for everything. even the chappal.'

Every line, every excuse and its truth, and all three photos are editable, and steppers choose how many dabba tiers (3–5) and excuses (2–4) she sees. It costs ₹79 one-time; Lovely gives you a link and QR code in about five minutes, and maa opens it on her phone without any account.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to make a website for my mom on Lovely?

About five minutes. Choose the Thank You, Maa template, tap any text on the preview to change it, swap in your photos, and publish. Lovely gives you a shareable link and a QR code straight away.

Does the recipient need an app or an account?

No. The page opens in any phone or laptop browser straight from WhatsApp, Instagram or SMS. There is nothing to install and no sign-up.

What can I customize in Thank You, Maa?

Every line of text, the dabba memories, each excuse and the truth behind it, the sign-off, and all three photos — including the one hidden under the steam. Steppers choose how many dabba tiers (3 to 5) and caught excuses (2 to 4) appear.

How does the steam reveal work?

The last scene shows a steel plate covered in fog. She rubs it with her finger (or mouse) and the steam wipes away; once most of it is clear, her photo and the thank-you message appear with floating hearts.

Is it funny or emotional?

Both. The lie detector is pure comedy — every excuse she has heard from you gets caught — and the dabba lines and final reveal are the warm part, so it reads like a real conversation with maa.
