I'm Sorry

For the boyfriend who goes quiet

I'm Sorry

₹59

A handwritten-style letter, memory polaroids with your captions, the promises you're making, and a 'hit me' button that lets him get the annoyance out before he reads the rest.

TL;DR

A sorry page is a private one-page site made for one person — your letter, photos with captions only he would get, promises he can hold you to, and one small interaction. He opens it from a WhatsApp link, at his own pace, with nothing to pay and no account to make. Ten minutes to build, ₹49 to ₹79 one-time. Below: what to put on it, why the boyfriend version is different from the girlfriend version, honest pricing, and the situations where you should call instead.

The boyfriend version is a different job

Almost every "apology page" article on the internet is written for apologising to a girlfriend. The advice does not transfer cleanly, because the failure modes are different.

Boyfriends who are upset tend to go quiet rather than escalate, which means the risk is not that your apology is too small — it is that it arrives as more talking at someone who has stopped talking. So the boyfriend version of this page needs three adjustments: less volume, more specificity, and something to do with his hands. A page does all three by design. It says its piece once, it holds the detail, and it does not sit in the chat blinking at him.

What to put on it

Six things, in this order:

  1. The exact mistake, in the first two lines. Not "I know things have been weird". The specific thing — the plan you cancelled, the thing you said in front of his friends, the promise you did not keep.
  2. What he probably felt. One sentence. "Tumne socha hoga ki main serious nahi hoon" does more work than a paragraph about how bad you feel.
  3. No defence before the apology. If there is context, it goes after, and it goes short. Explanation placed first reads as an argument in nicer clothing.
  4. Three to six photos with captions. The caption is the point. A photo without one is decoration; with one it is a memory you are both standing in.
  5. Promises that can be checked. "I'll be better" is not checkable. "I'll say it directly instead of going silent for a day" is.
  6. A closing line that asks for nothing. "Jab tayyar ho" beats "please reply". The absence of a demand is what makes a page different from a text.

Four openers you can start the letter with — change one detail before you use them:

The ten-minute build

  1. Write the letter in your notes app first. Four to eight sentences. If you open the editor first, you will spend your good energy on colours instead of words.
  2. Pick the template that matches the fight, using the table below. The dramatic one after a small mistake is a mistake of its own.
  3. Fill it in. His name, the letter, photos with captions, the promises. It is all text fields and image uploads — no code, no design tools.
  4. Switch on the password if his phone gets seen by roommates or family. You set the unlock message too.
  5. Publish. You get a unique link and a QR code immediately.
  6. Send the link on its own. No paragraph attached, no "I made this for you, please read it properly". One message.
  7. Then leave it. Do not ask whether he opened it. Your dashboard shows views if you genuinely need to know, and asking undoes the entire advantage of the format.

Which template fits which fight

| The situation | Template | Price | Why | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | One clear mistake after a real fight | I'm Sorry | ₹59 | Handwritten letter, memory polaroids, promises, and a 'hit me' button so he can vent before he forgives | | Several separate things to apologise for | Sorry Baby | ₹59 | Seven sticky notes, one specific thing per note, polaroid wall, pinky-promise lock, forgiveness slider | | A big mistake you want to land with weight | Am Sorry | ₹79 | Rain-to-sunshine scroll, a confession on torn notebook paper, the unsent messages from his side, tickable promises | | He is talking about ending it | Please Don't Leave Me | ₹49 | Dodge-the-leave-button, press-and-hold heart, reasons to stay, pinky-promise lock, optional password | | He apologised and you want to close it kindly | Hey, It's Okay | ₹49 | An 8-chapter forgiveness letter — the side almost nobody thinks to send |

Honest pricing

| Item | Cost | | --- | --- | | The page, one-time per project | ₹49 – ₹79 by template | | What he pays | ₹0 — no account, no app, no card | | Views | Unlimited, and the page stays live | | Editing and re-publishing the same page | ₹0 | | Password lock | Included | | Recurring charges | None |

One payment, one page. A second, separate page later is a separate payment — that is the whole pricing model, and there is no subscription anywhere in it.

What NOT to do

  • Do not send it in the middle of the fight. Wait until your own anger has actually dropped. An apology written mid-argument always has an argument hidden inside it.
  • Do not put anything he did on the page. Not one line, however fair. That is a different conversation on a different day.
  • Do not use his own messages as screenshots. Quoting him back at himself inside an apology is not an apology.
  • Do not auto-play music. He might be opening it at work, in a hostel room, or on a bus.
  • Do not build something so elaborate that the apology disappears inside it. If someone could look at the page and not know what you did wrong, you made a card.

When a page isn't the answer

The honest limit: a page is a good middle option between a text that is too small and a call he is not ready for. It is not a substitute for the conversation, and there are three situations where sending one makes things worse.

If he has asked for space, wait — a page an hour later is just a louder message. If this is the third apology for the same behaviour, a page reads as effort replacing change, and he will notice. And if what broke was trust, nothing you build tonight fixes that; the repair happens over the following weeks, and the page can only open the door to it.

Sometimes the right move is to close this tab and call him, and if he does not pick up, to send four plain sentences and be patient. How to apologize sincerely is our structure for that conversation, and if the silence has run into weeks or months, the long-silence apology letter template is the version built for reaching out across a real gap.

"Boys don't need a longer apology," says Lovely's founder. "They need proof you know exactly which thing you did. Everything else on the page is just packaging for that one sentence."

For lines to build the letter from, sorry shayari for boyfriend has sixty-five sorted by how serious the fight was, and sorry status for WhatsApp covers the quieter public version for when he has asked for room. Change one detail in anything you borrow.

Frequently asked questions

What should a sorry page for a boyfriend include?

The specific mistake named in the first two lines, what he probably felt, three to six photos with real captions, promises that can actually be checked, and one small interaction. Skip the flowery language — the thing most boyfriends respond to is evidence that you know exactly which thing you did.

Do boys even care about a page like this?

The ones who go quiet after fights usually do, because a page asks nothing back. It is the format that suits someone who does not want to be talked at while he is still processing. What lands is the specificity, not the design.

How much does it cost and does he pay anything?

He pays nothing — he just opens the link. On Lovely the page is a one-time payment: ₹49 for Hey, It's Okay or Please Don't Leave Me, ₹59 for I'm Sorry or Sorry Baby, ₹79 for Am Sorry. Unlimited views, and editing the page later is free.

He is not replying to my texts. Will a page help?

It can, because a link does not demand an immediate answer the way a text does. Send it once, with no paragraph attached, and then leave it alone. If he asked for space, wait a day first — a page that arrives an hour after he asks for time is just a louder message.

Should I add a password to the page?

Add one if his phone gets seen by roommates, siblings or family, or if the page mentions anything private. Lovely's apology templates support an optional password with your own unlock message, so the page only opens for him.
