navratri · for Riya
tap a colour. each night has a mood.
pick a night ↓
bright like your 6am "good morning" texts.
you make everything grow. even my patience.
calm, grey, unbothered. iconic.
orange = louder you. my favourite.
white. the "i'm innocent" face you do.
red. the energy you dance with.
royal blue. because you are royalty.
pink. obviously. you're the main character.
purple. the last night. the best night.
clap on the beat. the circle gets bigger.
clap 1: you showed up. the night started.
clap 2: three-step garba? you made it seven.
clap 3: aunties stopped to watch. fair.
clap 4: still dancing at 2am. legend.
clap 5: no circle is complete without you.
clap 6: okay fine, one more round.
strike the sticks. every hit shines a mirror.
